PURPLE SMOOTHIE RECIPE

Smoothies and football go together like ham and tuna fish! Just kidding, but I do love smoothies all year around as a way to add in extra protein, fruit, veggies and other supplements to my diet. I received a few questions about what I put in the purple “Vikings smoothie” I posted on my Instagram story so here is the recipe with links to the brands/styles of ingredients that I prefer. (Amanda even likes it and she’s not big on smoothies!)

Purple Superfood Smoothie Recipe:

Frozen mixed fruit (strawberry, blueberry, banana)

1 fresh banana

1 large scoop of Peanut Butter & Co brand “White Chocolate Wonderful

1 spoonful flax seed

1 scoop Vega berry protein

1 large drizzle of local honey

1 cup(ish) of Almond milk
