Speed, Conditioning, Agility Beach Workout

Training with bare feet in the sand at the beach is great for athletes’ sports performance or anyone looking to improve strength in the muscles of their feet, gain speed, or improve agility and endurance.

Henry Beard soon begins his athletic season at Newman University after playing for the University of South Florida Men’s Basketball team from 2016-2018 and at Seminole High School previously.

We started by waking up the body with an active dynamic warmup of shuffles, hops, kick-backs and knee tucks. Then we worked on speed with sprints and change-of-direction drills. Finally, we worked on his conditioning with timed sport-specific hurdle drills. Check it out in this short video:
